Pinterest is a place for people to discover, try, and buy creative ideas in a range of categories including food, beauty, fashion, home and DIY. With new shopping and creator experiences available, Pinners are engaging in more immersive formats with interactive entertainment than they ever have before.
As part of its pivot from being solely an inspirational shop to becoming a place for creator content, Pinterest is now enabling live shopping through Pinterest TV.
Pinterest TV, Pinterest’s new video feature, is the latest of Pinterest’s commitment to putting what Pinners love at the forefront.
Pinterest TV Explained
This new feature is Pinterest’s answer to major online streaming services and social media platforms by providing unique content Pinterest users want. This means more than just cooking shows or beauty tutorials, Pinterest TV provides original show series that are refreshed each weekday and will be recorded and available for Pinners to view on-demand to save and re-watch later.
Pinners can discover Pinterest’s creator community and shop at the same time. Pinterest TV will also highlight relevant products from Pinterest’s retail partners, introducing users to Pinterest’s new shopping experience. Pinterest wants its users to be inspired by Pinterest TV content while making spontaneous purchases—all within the Pinterest app.
As Pinterest continues to evolve, it has found that users are engaging with video content in new ways across multiple channels. Pinterest’s shift towards creating an ecosystem for all kinds of creativity allows Pinterest to be more than just a virtual pinboard of inspiration, Pinterest TV is Pinterest’s answer to this shift.
Pinterest TV gives Pinterest users the freedom to explore new ideas through entertainment or creator content.

How to find and access Pinterest TV episodes
You can access Pinterest TV on iOS devices in the Pinterest app itself and any web browser via Pinterest.com/tv. Pinterest plans to release Android versions soon after its initial launch, with expanded functionality and new formats following shortly after that.
Original show series will be released every day at 11 AM Eastern time. The episodes are recorded and can be viewed on-demand. Viewers will be able to save and re-watch episodes they enjoy.
To view episodes, interact with hosts, ask questions via chat, and get answers live, click the TV icon in the upper left corner of the Pinterest app. Make sure to have the latest version of the Pinterest app.
Pinterest is also launching a virtual studio for its producers, where they will be able to work directly with each creator to develop original material, provide “backstage” A/V support, and go live with inspiring episodes. According to Pinterest, creators that have hosted Pinterest TV episodes during the pilot phase have “significantly” boosted their following and engagement on the platform.
How Creators Can Use Pinterest TV
On Pinterest TV, contributors can post and tag items so that Pinners may browse and purchase on the retailer’s website. Hosts will have a shopping toolkit that includes a product drawer with prices and product information, product drops and brand collaborations, as well as a picture of how much is left, to give limited-time-offer modules.
Pinterest TV is currently only available to select content creators, by application and invitation only. Pinterest Creators interested in creating their very own Pinterest TV episode must apply here.
